Job Title: Functional Skills Educator

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Functional Skills Educator to join our team at Recruited UK. As a Functional Skills Educator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to small groups of learners, helping them to develop their skills, knowledge, and behaviours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Functional Skills training to learners, focusing on English and maths
  • Support learners in achieving their long-term goals and aspirations
  • Develop and maintain an effective and inclusive learning environment
  • Use a diverse range of resources and communication skills to engage learners
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high-quality training

Requirements:

  • Experience in delivering Functional Skills training, preferably in English and maths
  • Hold a Level 3 or higher teaching qualification
  • Be able to promote an effective and inclusive learning environment
  • Have a good level of IT competence
