Job Title: Data Design Executive

The Data Design Executive will oversee a geographically diverse team of designers, engineers, and project teams working on high-voltage equipment layouts. This role will provide a high-level overview of design and interface with various teams throughout the project cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate engineering workload and deliverables dates for concerned packages and commit to such budget in man-days and time delivery
  • Ensure on-time delivery of design, including partner documents, to stakeholders with suitable quality
  • Lead and coordinate the design team
  • Manage and monitor detailed execution progress and short-term plans
  • Manage design time spent in man-hours on relevant activities
  • Follow and implement project strategy
  • Highlight scope or design changes (data for claims, VO)
  • Inform PEM/PM of design issues throughout project execution and propose range of solutions for decision
  • Represent customer interests in design decisions at PM request
  • Optimize costs in all design phases and mainly during basic design
  • Ensure technical consistency of design area
  • Check design subcontractor deliverables

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, depending on the field of activity involved
  • Good level of years of engineering experience in the related activity/discipline, preferably in project and EPC type environments in T&D, Power Gen, or Oil & Gas industry
  • Experience of project technical management processes, preferably in a multi-disciplinary team's context with multiple interfaces
  • Several experiences in managing externally subcontracted design work packages of various sizes
