Behaviour Support Practitioner

Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Worker to join our team at GSL Education, supporting students with challenging behaviours in a welcoming school environment.
About the Role:
- Implement behaviour support plans to manage challenging behaviours consistently and effectively.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, helping them understand and manage their emotions and actions.
- Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and outside professionals to develop and review behaviour strategies.
- Track student behaviour and progress, maintaining clear records and sharing feedback with teachers and parents.
- Assist teachers in maintaining a productive learning space.
Requirements:
- Experience working with students with behavioural challenges.
- Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
- Empathy, patience, and resilience to support students effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Enhanced DBS registration.
