Role Overview
HM Treasury seeks a skilled Digital Policy Expert to lead on policy development for cryptoassets as financial services. This role requires proactive and responsive policy formulation in a fast-evolving sector, identifying and addressing emerging issues.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and update the UK's framework for financial services regulation to protect consumers and enable cryptoassets firms to innovate and grow.
* Engage with the cryptoasset sector, working closely with the FCA and Bank of England to ensure HMT policy reflects the latest sector developments.
* Brief Treasury ministers on cryptoasset policy and assist with decisions, dealing with parliamentary, media, and external engagement.

Requirements
* Strong understanding of cryptoassets and ability to work optimally with professional partners.
* Evidence-based decision-making and ownership of delivering complex policy outcomes.

What We Offer
* Competitive salary (£60,000 - £80,000) based on experience and qualifications.
* 25 days annual leave (rising to 30 after 5 years).
* Flexitime systems and access to a defined benefit pension scheme with 28% employer contributions.
