Retail Auditor, Staffordshire (Independent Contractor)

NSF is seeking a self-employed Retail Auditor to conduct food safety inspections, coach and train at clients' sites, and communicate findings with client site management.

  1. Conducting food safety inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Coaching and training clients' staff on food safety best practices.
  3. Summarizing and evaluating inspection findings to identify areas for improvement.
  4. Communicating findings and results with client site management or appropriate representatives.
  5. Collecting and shipping samples to laboratories for testing.
  6. Developing effective work plans for inspections.
  7. Establishing and maintaining effective communication with key team members.
  8. Performing other duties as requested.

Qualifications

  1. Minimum Level 4 Health & Safety and Level 4 Food Safety qualifications.
  2. Environmental Health Degree or similar.
  3. Ability to perform audits in all disciplines.
  4. Registration to CIEH or IOSH beneficial.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.
  7. Willingness to work some evenings and weekends.
  8. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office.
