Job Summary:

Pertemps Network Group is seeking a highly skilled Personal Injury Fee Earner to join their team. As a Personal Injury Fee Earner, you will be responsible for progressing case loads efficiently to satisfy clients and maximize the firm's interests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective use of the firm's case management system to manage case loads and track progress.
  • Liaise with referrers and manage their expectations regarding quality and service.
  • Take initial instructions from clients and assess the validity of claims.
  • Investigate liability and assess quantum to determine the best course of action.
  • Liaise with Counsel and instruct them as necessary.
  • Liaise with Insurers to negotiate settlements and resolve claims.
  • Draft court documents and represent clients in litigation as required.
  • Provide weekly reports to team managers and participate in training new staff as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a legal firm.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills to manage multiple case loads.
  • Basic typing skills and proficiency in computer software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, referrers, and colleagues.
