Key Responsibilities:

  1. Accounts Receivable Management: Monitor outstanding invoices, ensure timely payments, and reduce overdue balances to maintain a positive cash flow.
  2. Credit Assessment: Evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing customers by reviewing financial statements, credit scores, and payment history to inform credit decisions.
  3. Credit Limits Setting: Establish appropriate credit limits for customers based on risk assessments and company policies to minimize bad debts.
  4. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status, overdue accounts, and cash flow forecasts for management to inform strategic decisions.
  5. Policy Adherence: Ensure all credit control procedures are followed and suggest improvements to reduce bad debts and enhance financial stability.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Credit Controller or similar role in a fast-paced financial environment.
  2. Strong understanding of credit control procedures and best practices, with a focus on financial stability and customer satisfaction.
  3. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel, to analyze and present financial data.
