About the Job

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, with proficiency in both electrical and mechanical work. A strong background in maintenance procedures, including reactive and planned maintenance, is essential.

We are looking for an individual who can provide a timely and professional routine/breakdown maintenance service, supporting the manufacturing processes. The ability to diagnose problems, perform fault finding on PLCs, and understand schematic electrical drawings is also required.

A proactive approach to engineering, excellent communication skills, and a strong team player attitude are necessary for this role. In addition, the candidate must be qualified to NVQ level 3 as a minimum and hold a 17th edition regulation certificate. PLC qualification is advantageous but not essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime
  • Carry out routine and breakdown maintenance tasks efficiently
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults promptly
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve maintenance goals
Requirements
  • Minimum NVQ level 3 qualification
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment
  • 17th edition regulation certificate
  • PLC qualification (desirable)
