Assistant Design Manager

Willmott Dixon is seeking a skilled Design Manager to join our London & East construction business.
This is a hybrid role that requires a presence in our Hitchin office 3 days a week.
The successful candidate will assist in collaborating with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and customers, to establish project requirements, objectives, and design criteria.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the design phase of construction projects from concept development to construction documentation.
- Ensuring compliance with project objectives, codes, regulations, and standards.
- Collaborating with design partners to select and appoint design solutions.
- Preparing information for regular design reviews to assess progress and identify potential risks.
- Supporting the coordination and management of external design consultants.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
