We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated optometrist to join the Ophthalmology team at Royal Cornwall Hospital NHS Trust.

Main Responsibilities
  • Perform paediatric cycloplegic refractions, indirect bio-microscopy and prescribing spectacles.
  • Make case management decisions for patients in patient-facing and virtual clinics.

The successful candidate will work within the optometry department as part of a multi-disciplinary team across various subspeciality clinics.

They will help deliver both core optometric services and specialist clinical activity requiring advanced clinical techniques.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
