Classroom Support Professional

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Classroom Support Professional to join our team at Teach360. As a Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with challenging behaviour and SEN in the classroom.
About the Role: The successful candidate will provide 1:1 or small group support to keep students engaged in their studies. They will use their excellent behaviour management skills to help de-escalate situations and promote positive behaviours. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members to deliver tailored support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with challenging behaviour and SEN in the classroom
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to keep students engaged in their studies
- Use behaviour management skills to de-escalate situations and promote positive behaviours
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members to deliver tailored support
Requirements:
- Experience working with young people with challenging behaviour or SEN
- Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to de-escalate situations effectively
- Passionate, proactive, and hardworking
- Ability to think on your feet and handle challenging situations calmly
- DBS check (or willing to apply for one)
- Previous experience working in a school or a similar setting is required
