About the Role:- Position: Primary PPA Teacher (Supply, with a possibility of a permanent role)
- Location: Special SEN School, Lewisham
- Days: Full-time, 5 days per week (not negotiable)
- Duration: Long-term sickness cover, expected until the end of the Spring term and likely until the end of the academic year
- Responsibilities:
- Providing PPA cover across all primary years, Reception to Year 6
- Planning and delivering differentiated lessons for students with a range of abilities and special educational needs
- Managing your own lesson planning (time allocated for planning and prep)
- A qualified primary teacher with UK training and proven experience in primary schools
- SEN experience preferred—most pupils have ASD or social and communication needs
- Someone who can hit the ground running and adapt quickly to the needs of the school
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire students
- English as a first language is essential
- Not suitable for teachers transitioning from secondary to primary
- You'll be joining a supportive and inclusive school environment that puts the needs of students first
- Gain invaluable experience working with children with a wide range of special educational needs
