Job Title: Chef - Liss

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our team at a global player in the contract catering industry. The successful candidate will work at a site near Liss, offering excellent benefits and opportunities to progress.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure food preparation and control meet the set standards.
  • Support the manager in maintaining, ordering, and controlling food stocks within a budget.
  • Be responsible for maintaining up-to-date product and menu knowledge.
  • Maintain a high standard of food preparation and presentation, ensuring portion and quality control.
  • Comply with health and safety and food safety legislations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Chef.
  • NVQ or City & Guilds Chef qualifications are required.
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

The Reward:

  • £14.72 + Overtime paid.
  • Life/work balance.
  • Monday to Friday mainly with 1 in 3 weekends.
  • Evenings Off.
  • Overtime Paid.
