Electrical Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team at Venn Group. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining and overseeing the electrical systems and services across our sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair electrical systems, including BMS and automation systems, in accordance with current electrical regulations.
  • Act as a tradesman and provide expert knowledge to other trades staff.
  • Promote a flexible approach and encourage co-operation and versatility of skills.
  • Accept delegate responsibilities when necessary to advise and liaise with other departments.
  • Follow management systems and work order procedures to ensure the organisation meets all contractual KPI's.
  • Liaise with and assist contractors when required, issuing Permits to Work and all necessary paperwork.
  • Advise, communicate and work with Statutory Inspectors, contractors on various systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and procedures.
  • Undertake complex fault diagnosis and fault rectification across the site.

Requirements:

  • Experience working as a craftsperson within a commercial or publicly used building.
  • Previous experience of managing a team.
  • Able to carry out in-depth fault finding on complex electrical and mechanical systems.
  • IT literate with ability to use MS office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
