Job Summary

This role involves carrying out day-to-day repairs and maintenance in customers' homes as part of our Response Repairs Operatives team.

You will be instrumental in preparing vacant homes for new customers, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship and service delivery.

The successful candidate will diagnose and address repairs efficiently, communicate effectively with customers and the planning team, and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and address repairs in customers' homes
  • Communicate effectively with customers and the planning team
  • Maintain carpentry works to the highest standard
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Work independently and manage time effectively

Requirements

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A City and Guilds/NVQ Level 2 in carpentry or equivalent qualification/demonstrable experience
  • UPVC servicing and installing skills
  • An intermediate/advanced knowledge of industry best practices
  • Knowledge of health and safety protocols
  • A current valid driving license
