Argyll and Bute Council is seeking a permanent, full-time Amenity Warden to join their team in the Helensburgh and Lomond area. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of public spaces, including roads, parks, and other community areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of public spaces, including roads, parks, and other community areas
- Responding to reports of litter, graffiti, and other environmental issues
- Collaborating with other council departments to ensure effective maintenance and upkeep of public spaces
- Providing excellent customer service to members of the public
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in a similar role or industry
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks
Working Hours:
The hours of work are from 8am to 4pm on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and 8am to 3:30pm on Tuesdays.
