We are currently working with a Local Authority in the North-West, who are recruiting for a locum Adult Social Care Lawyer to support their busy team.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of approximately 10, and advising clients on Adult Social Care matters across the Council.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a caseload of approximately 10, and advising clients on Adult Social Care matters across the Council
- Supervising 2 solicitors within the team
- Acting in court of protection matters
- Preparing and representing the organisation in court of protection matters
- Advising on all aspects of adult safeguarding law
- Advising on plans and assessments for vulnerable adults
- Advising on the duties of the organisation under the Care Act
Requirements:
- Strong Adult Social Care experience
- Relevant Professional Qualification – Solicitor, Barrister, FCILEX
Working Hours:
37 hours per week, Monday – Friday
The successful candidate will be required to have recent experience in Adult Social Care.
