Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at St Philips Care Group. As a Culinary Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in ensuring the success of our kitchen team.

• Prepare and serve meals and beverages to residents
• Work in accordance with our kitchen policies and procedures
• Carry out kitchen duties to maintain a high standard of hygiene
• Order food and resources effectively
• Report any issues or concerns raised by residents to the Care Centre Manager
• Attend mandatory and in-house training as required

• Minimum qualification NVQ Level 2 or 706/2 in Catering, Basic or Intermediate Food Hygiene certificate
• Knowledge of textured and modified diets
• Experience in a care, hospital, or commercial kitchen setting (full training can be provided)
• Good verbal and written skills
• Ability to relate to residents in a kind and courteous manner
