Production Maintenance Specialist

Zest is a well-established food manufacturing company with a strong reputation for excellence. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Shift Engineer to join our team.
Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and experienced engineer to provide essential maintenance support within our food production environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out both reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance (PPMs), as well as assisting with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of equipment.
- Conduct fault diagnosis and repair of machinery and equipment.
- Assist in the implementation of new technologies and processes to improve productivity and quality.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or food production environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
