Job Description

Job Title: HGV Class 1 Night Driver - Container Transport

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 night driver to join our team at ARC Group. As a night shift driver, you will be responsible for transporting containers safely and efficiently across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles on night shifts, transporting containers to various locations across the UK
  • Ensure safe and timely delivery of goods, adhering to company policies and regulations
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, using digital tachograph cards and port cards
  • Collaborate with other drivers and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with no more than six points, held for a minimum of two years
  • CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
  • Port cards and good standard of spoken and written English
  • Previous experience in container transport required
  • Settled Status in the UK
