Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, repair, and operate essential facilities equipment to ensure the efficient running of the site.
  • Perform regular inspections to guarantee compliance standards and optimal functionality of facilities systems.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance teams to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Document maintenance schedules, repairs, and compliance checks accurately.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in facilities/maintenance engineering with a focus on steam systems and plumbing.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of plumbing maintenance and repair techniques.
  • Ability to perform various tasks including groundwork, plumbing, carpentry, etc.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to maintenance.
  • Relevant mechanical or facilities engineering qualifications (NVQ, HND, or equivalent) - desirable.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 and a full-time, permanent contract. Located in Cornwall, this position is commutable from nearby cities such as Plymouth, Bodmin, Callington, Launceston, Davidstow, and St Neot.
