Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary up to £75,000 DOE, with enhanced salary negotiable for an Advanced Practitioner. Additionally, they offer a range of generous benefits, including flexible CPD allowance, full certificate support, RCVS, VDS, BVA, and one other professional fee paid.
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our team. As a key member of the 14-vet team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our patients, working collaboratively with our nurses and support staff to achieve outstanding results. Your expertise in surgery and medicine will enable us to undertake complex cases in-house, providing opportunities for continual learning and development.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Veterinary Medicine or Surgery
- Minimum 2 years of post-graduate experience in small animal surgery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work-Life Balance
We understand the importance of work-life balance and offer a flexible schedule, with a 4-day week from 8:30am - 6:30pm, and a fixed day off. The weekend rota is shared on a 16-week basis, with two Saturdays and two full weekends per month. You will also enjoy staggered consulting and operating times, allowing plenty of time for admin and phone calls.
