Job Title: Tax Manager

Barber McLelland Ltd is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join their dedicated Owner Managed Business (OMB) team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in delivering tax advisory projects and managing a portfolio of OMB clients.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of tax advisory projects, including corporation tax and income tax returns, P11D's and ERS Returns
  • Monitor tax deadlines for OMB clients and provide timely advice
  • Advise OMB clients on tax compliance and planning, including remuneration planning, share incentives and planning, property planning, reorganisations and transactional work
  • Contribute to business development activities and help drive the growth of the OMB team
Requirements
  • CTA/CIOT and/or ACA or ACCA qualified, or ATT qualified with a minimum of 4 years tax experience
  • Proven experience dealing with tax compliance and some advisory aspects
  • Ability to take the lead on planning and compliance assignments

  • Competitive salary of £40,000 to £45,000 (dependent upon experience)
