About the Role:

Hunter Bond is seeking a highly skilled Data Architect/Technical Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership in architecting and designing end-to-end solutions for our datalake initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership in architecting and designing end-to-end solutions for our datalake initiatives.
  • Manage a remote engineering team of 15 people, driving improvements in design, processes, and implementation to improve operational management, scalability, and extensibility.
  • Develop and implement data warehouse solutions using Spark and Databricks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.

Requirements:

  • Strong implementation experience using Spark and Databricks.
  • Strong Cloud experience (ideally Azure).
  • Previously heavily involved in an implementation programme.
  • Experience with data warehouse solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience.
  • Excellent IT background, ideally within Telco/Wireless service providers but not essential.
