Production Operative

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Operative to join our night shift team at Van Elle, the UK's leading ground engineering contractor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate automated welding machines to produce steel cages for concrete piles.
- Prepare moulds for casting and ensure quality control standards are met.
- Work collaboratively with a small team to meet production targets and minimize downtime.
- Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of shift performance and downtime.
Requirements:
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Previous experience in a production environment, preferably with overhead cranes, forklifts, and welding equipment.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
