We develop end-to-end solutions for optimizing pricing algorithms and driving business value for PLS and our partners.
We prioritize experimentation, analysis, and improvement, which has contributed to PLS's rapid growth within Expedia Group.
Key Responsibilities:- Apply statistical methods to extract insights from data and inform business decisions
- Design and implement pricing algorithms, leveraging machine learning systems
- Communicate complex analytical concepts to diverse stakeholders, including senior leadership
- Conduct feature engineering and adapt models to meet business needs
- Model complex online travel data to predict and optimize business metrics
- Foster collaboration with technology and business divisions
- Articulate solutions and methodologies to technical and non-technical partners
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field, such as Computer Science or Mathematics
- Strong foundation in machine learning techniques, including regression, Naive Bayes, and neural networks
- Experience with programming languages like Python, R, and SQL
- Familiarity with distributed computing, scalable datastores, and cloud technologies
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
