Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Food Service Assistant to join our team in Haywards Heath. As a Food Service Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Assist with food preparation, including making sandwiches and deli foods
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer queries and concerns
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Restock items and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar catering role is desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends
  • DBS Check will be required
