Job Title: Weighbridge and Logistics Coordinator
Job Summary: Technical Placements is seeking a skilled Weighbridge and Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Glasgow. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating logistic movements in and out of our busy depot, ensuring accurate and compliant recording of load weights, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Logistic Coordination: Coordinate logistic movements in and out of the depot, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods and services.
- Weight Recording: Accurately and compliantly record load weights of all vehicle movements in and out of the depot.
- Data Entry: Capture and input data collated by the Quality Control team, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Sales Load Coordination: Coordinate and administer sales loads, ensuring compliant documentation in line with UK regulatory requirements and Export Law.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, handling phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Reporting: Assist with Depot month end reporting, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Inter-Departmental Liaison: Liaise with other departments, including commercial teams, finance department, and other stakeholders, to share knowledge, resolve queries, and ensure accuracy of input and output.
- Contractor Management: Control of contractor movements onto the site.
Requirements:
- Microsoft Navision and SAP Experience: Experience with Microsoft Navision and SAP is beneficial but not essential. Good working knowledge of Excel is required.
