About the Role:

We are recruiting for a talented Logistics Planning Specialist to join our team at CV Library in Ashbourne. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for career advancement.

Work Schedule: 4 on 4 off. Hours within this schedule are Mon - Fri: 7am - 5pm and Sat - Sun 6am - 4pm (Average of 35 hours per week) Overtime paid at time and a half.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage and coordinate transportation operations to minimize delays and maximize efficiency.
  • To develop and implement effective logistics plans to meet customer demands.
  • To collaborate with farmers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • To stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in logistics management.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with logistics software (desirable).

Salary Range: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, based on experience.
