Primary Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Tutor to join our team at Fleet Education Services. As a Primary Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting learners who require dedicated, in-person support to achieve their academic goals.
Our learners are situated throughout the UK, and we are looking for a tutor who can provide high-quality tuition to learners who are struggling to meet age-related academic expectations. You will work with learners who may have complex learning requirements, including special educational needs, social, emotional, and mental health needs, and childhood trauma.
Key Responsibilities- Create engaging and inspiring lesson plans that cater to the individual needs of each learner.
- Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with learners' guardians and teachers to ensure their academic success.
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and learner performance through our virtual learning platform.
- Competitive weekly remuneration through PAYE.
- Control over your workload, with flexible roles that fit around your existing commitments and availability.
- Ongoing training opportunities that count towards your CPD and provide insight into working with SEN learners.
- A dedicated Tuition Consultant who will work closely with you to ensure you have as much work as you are able to fulfill, matching you to opportunities that meet your preferences.
- Must hold a Bachelor's level degree or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 6 months UK teaching/tutoring experience.
- Must live and be eligible to work in the UK.
- Must be willing to undertake a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and referencing process, as well as subscribing to the DBS Update Service.
- A commitment to safeguarding.
- Experience supporting students with SEN, SEMH, and other complex needs.
