About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Technical Operations Specialist to contribute to our world-class support service, shaping the future of TechOps at Octopus. You will be responsible for providing technical support to all areas of the business, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating closely with our Security team to ensure the right balance between security, productivity, and user experience.

In this role, you will also have the chance to automate processes, improve the user experience, and empower our people to help themselves by designing and building self-service solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining all tech in our offices around the world, managing supplier relationships, and leading complex technical projects with multiple stakeholders.

What You'll Do
  • Provide technical support to all areas of the business, ensuring employees can do their job efficiently
  • Troubleshoot and fix a wide range of technical issues, from laptop faults to network problems
  • Collaborate with our Security team to strike the right balance between security, productivity, and user experience
  • Automate processes and improve the user experience
  • Design and build self-service solutions to empower our people
  • Monitor and maintain all tech in our offices worldwide
  • Manage supplier relationships and lead complex technical projects
What You'll Need
  • Experience leading technical projects across various technologies and platforms
  • Experience with scripting, using APIs, and automating mundane tasks
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and spinning multiple plates simultaneously
  • Experience working with multiple teams and managing stakeholders
  • Experience supporting, managing, and deploying applications on macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android devices
  • Experience with Identity & Access Management systems like Okta or Microsoft Entra
  • Experience administering and troubleshooting Single Sign-On (SSO) technologies
  • An understanding of identity provisioning technologies like SCIM
About the Salary

We offer a competitive salary, estimated to be around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
