At Royal Mail, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Postperson with Driving. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service and making a difference in their community.

About the Role

\

We are looking for a reliable and self-motivated individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team. As a Postperson with Driving, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers in your assigned area. You will also be required to work at either Witney or Oxford Delivery offices 1 in 4 Sundays when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver mail and packages to customers in your assigned area\
  • Work at either Witney or Oxford Delivery offices 1 in 4 Sundays when required\
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries\
  • Maintain accurate records and reports\
  • Perform other duties as required\

Requirements

\

To be successful in this role, you will need:

\
  • \
  • A full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points\
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills\
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team\
  • Physical stamina to walk long distances and work outside in various weather conditions\
  • Knowledge of the local area and ability to navigate efficiently\
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanning devices\

We offer a competitive monthly salary equivalent to an hourly rate of £12.54, overtime paid at 1.25 times the normal hourly rate, 22.5 days holiday (pro-rata) rising with length of service, full uniform provided, company pension scheme with competitive contribution rates, lots of opportunities to develop a career, and excellent family-friendly support including enhanced maternity pay, paternity leave, adoption leave and shared parental leave.
