Rheumatology Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rheumatology Specialist to join our team at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Rheumatology Department, you will play a vital role in the ongoing development of our services for the local population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of rheumatology services, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in training and educational activities, including administrative, teaching, continuing medical education, and audit activities, to maintain clinical excellence within the service.
- Collaborate with our team of consultants, specialist registrars, GPSI's, specialist nursing staff, and wider MDT to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
- Work closely with our administrative team to ensure seamless service delivery and effective communication with patients and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Appropriate experience in rheumatology and certification from the General Medical Council (CCT) or equivalent.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work full-time or part-time, depending on the candidate's preference.
