Procurement Strategist

To achieve this goal, we require a Procurement Strategist to join our team in Farnborough, UK.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cost-effective purchasing procedures to meet user requirements.

The estimated salary for this position is around £55,000 - £75,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Overview:

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.

They should also possess Level 3 CIPS or higher certification or purchasing experience.

Additionally, they should have basic knowledge of purchasing methods and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop sources of supply and obtain information from suppliers.
• Solicit quotes, evaluate costs, and negotiate delivery schedules.
• Communicate with user departments to ensure requirements are met.
• Prepare purchase orders, administer contracts, and monitor supplier performance.
• Resolve purchasing-related problems and take corrective action.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Level 3 CIPS or higher certification or purchasing experience.
• Basic knowledge of purchasing methods and techniques.

Additional Information:

• Up to 25% travel required for this role.
