About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team on a locum basis. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the pharmacy team in providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medication and providing patient advice
- Conduct medication reviews and provide recommendations for improvement
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Previous experience of more than six months in a UK-based pharmacy setting
- Further professional development, including ACT or MMT accreditations (desired but not essential)
- NVQ or equivalent pharmacy technician qualification
