Job Summary

We are seeking two enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Peer Support Workers in our brand-new Young Persons Transition Pathway. This exciting opportunity will enable you to make a positive impact on the lives of young people transitioning from Children's Mental Health services to Adult Mental Health Services.

Main Responsibilities

As a valued member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will provide formalized peer support and practical assistance to service users, empowering them to regain control over their lives and embark on their unique recovery journey. You will share your lived experience and inspire hope and belief that recovery is possible in others.

You will facilitate and support information sharing to promote choice, self-determination, and opportunities for socially valued roles and connection to local communities. You will also take a lead role in embedding recovery values within the service and act as an ambassador of recovery for the Trust with external agencies and partner organizations.
