Heavy Vehicle Service Technician Lead

As a Commercial Vehicle Technician at Pybus Recruitment Ltd, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of safety and technical excellence in our UK and Channel Islands dealership network. About the Role
This full-time, permanent position involves working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts on a rota basis. You will be responsible for providing exceptional technical advice, performing commercial vehicle inspections, and carrying out maintenance and repair work to ensure our clients' vehicles are in optimal condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver top-notch technical service and maintenance to all clients' customers on Ford and other brand commercial vehicles.
- Adhere to relevant protocols, including legislation, company procedures, and manufacturer guidelines.
- Collaborate with Senior and Master Technicians, undertake learning and development as prescribed, and maintain comprehensive records in a timely manner.
- Foster a supportive culture among colleagues, aligning with our client's Purpose, Principles, and Ambition (PPA).
- Pursue ongoing learning and development opportunities.
- Provide services in the most resource-effective manner possible.
Requirements
- Hold a City & Guilds Level 2 or 3, NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification, or equivalent.
- Demonstrate ability to manage processes, administration, and paperwork.
- Have previous experience as a Commercial Automotive Technician, preferably with an MOT Testing qualification and main dealership experience.
- Show ability to support coaching, counseling, and developing junior team members, delivering high standards of technical advice, service, and maintenance to customers.
- Hold a valid driving license for at least 6 months, with fewer than 9 penalty points.
- Provide evidence of Right to Work in the UK.
