About the Role

As a Pricing Manager - Travel Insurance Portfolio, you will be responsible for creating exceptional tools to build sustainable pricing changes for the travel insurance portfolio. This will involve managing 3rd party relationships with potential data and capability providers, acting as an SME in the travel pricing space, and answering customer queries related to pricing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create pricing tools and models to drive sustainable pricing changes for the travel insurance portfolio.
  • Manage relationships with 3rd party data and capability providers to ensure access to relevant data and expertise.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in travel pricing, providing guidance and support to customers on pricing-related queries.
  • Establish a team to focus on implementing AI/ML use across different parts of the travel pricing chain.
  • Evaluate and advise on overall pricing structure to optimize long-term profitability through pricing.
  • Design and implement pricing tests to understand customer behavior and challenge traditional pricing methods.
  • Review external and internal data sources to identify value-adding insights for insurance pricing.

Requirements

  • Prior leadership/mentoring experience.
  • A minimum of 3+ years in an insurance/pricing role.
  • Experience working across a travel insurance portfolio.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in SQL is essential.
