Job Summary:

Venn Group is seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to fill the role of Head of People Partnering. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the development and growth of our organization.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and inspiring a team of People Partners, fostering a culture of high performance and excellence. They will oversee and guide the team in establishing and embedding a strategic business partnering approach, ensuring the efficient operation of various functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Inspire: Foster a culture of high performance and excellence within the People Partnering team.
  • Strategic Business Partnering: Oversee and guide the team in establishing and embedding a strategic business partnering approach.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Manage subject matter expert leads, ensuring the efficient operation of their respective functions.
  • Employee Relations: Utilize Employee Relations expertise to continuously improve and update practices and policies, ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the wider People teams to enhance the employee experience through aligned policies and practices.
  • Leadership: Partner with other People Leaders to refine the employee and service value proposition, providing effective solutions for the organization.
  • HR Systems: Lead the evaluation and improvement of HR systems and technology to support strategic goals and drive best practices.
  • Credibility and Customer Experience: Work collaboratively across the entire People Directorate to build credibility within the organization and deliver an outstanding customer experience for all employees.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in human resources, with a focus on employee relations and strategic business partnering. They will have a proven track record of leadership and management, with a focus on policy improvement and high-quality service delivery.

Requirements:

  • MCIPD Qualification: Possess a MCIPD qualification or equivalent.
  • Senior-Level Experience: Have extensive senior-level generalist experience in a complex organization.
  • Employee Relations Expertise: Have in-depth knowledge of Employee Relations with experience leading a team of subject matter experts.
  • Leadership and Management Skills: Possess proven leadership and management skills, emphasizing policy improvement and high-quality service delivery.
  • People Strategies: Have expertise in designing and implementing People strategies, turning them into actionable team objectives.
  • Collaboration and Relationship-Building: Possess a strong ability to collaborate and build relationships with leaders, managers, and stakeholders.

Location: East Sussex

Duration: 6-9 months, with possible extension

Daily Rate: £ per day

Working Hours: Full time

Working Pattern: Hybrid (2 days per week in the office)
