NHS Forth Valley Pharmacy Services is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Primary Care Pharmacy Support Worker. This exciting opportunity will enable you to work closely with our GP practice Pharmacy teams to deliver the pharmacotherapy service in Primary Care.

About the Role:

  • Assist the GP practice Pharmacy teams with delivering the pharmacotherapy service in Primary Care.
  • Work closely with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to support the management of medicines and improve patient care.
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication skills.
  • Be a team player and have a willingness to be flexible and adaptable.

Requirements:

  • SVQ in Pharmacy Services at SCQF level 6 or equivalent (or be willing to work towards this).
  • Experience dealing with patients/public and a real commitment to improving patient care.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good organisation and prioritisation skills.
  • Computer literate with an ability to learn new computer systems.
