Job Summary
The post holder will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering high-quality patient care in a caring and compassionate manner. They will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to contribute to the clinical governance process and act as a mentor/preceptor to junior staff.
Main Duties of the Job
The successful candidate will take delegated responsibility for the management of the clinical team and the maintenance of high standards of quality patient care on a shift basis. They will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, performing a variety of tasks, including assessing patients, developing care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Cardiac Catheter Suite team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a highly skilled and experienced team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and deliver high-quality patient care
- Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to contribute to the clinical governance process
- Act as a mentor/preceptor to junior staff
- Take delegated responsibility for the management of the clinical team

Person Specification
The successful candidate will have:
First-level registration as a Registered NurseDegree or Diploma in NursingKnowledge of clinical governance and IT/Word ProcessingExperience of working in a cardiac catheter lab environmentAbility to supervise and support junior staffTeaching and assessing skills/ability
