We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced procurement professional to join our high-performing team. As a Procurement Consultant, you will play a key role in driving maximum return for our clients and Ebit by creating, owning, managing, and delivering end-to-end procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement Activity Management: Manage and run procurement activities in all spend categories end-to-end on behalf of Ebit and the client, ensuring collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Manage and maintain stakeholder relationships to ensure client satisfaction, including arranging meetings, updates, presentations, reporting, and communicating progress.
  • Business Understanding and Analysis: Meet key business stakeholders, conduct research, ask relevant questions, and gather information to gain an understanding of business/spend categories and the supply base.
  • Pipeline Development and Management: Develop and manage a pipeline of procurement projects that reflects client and Ebit objectives, ensuring no 'in scope' category is missed.
  • Progress Communication: Proactively update and communicate activity progress, including completion of Ebit/client project trackers and savings reports, relevant presentations, and provide information as required to line management.
  • Savings and Benefits Delivery: Maximise savings/benefits delivered for the client, working at an appropriate pace while ensuring quality solutions that drive business improvement.
  • Client Relationship Management: Nurture client relationships, working to maximise the length of relationship Ebit has with each client.
  • Quality and Output: Ensure a high and consistent quality of output, working and ensuring work is carried out in Ebit's and the clients' best interests.
  • Market Intelligence and Upselling: Promote the benefits of Ebit to the client, ensure protection of Ebit's market intelligence, and upsell other services where appropriate.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a procurement/commercial role.
  • Retail and/or Manufacturing industry experience within a procurement role.
  • Strong relationship management, confident and credible at C-Level/board level and with senior stakeholders.
  • Highly organised and focused individual capable of prioritising and re-prioritising constantly.
  • Demonstrable experience of succeeding in an autonomous, self-sufficient role in which you were personally accountable for delivering targets, business improvement, and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Commercially astute with a drive for delivery and achieving commercial results.
  • Demonstratable experience and knowledge of procurement best practice and the procurement process.
  • Solutions focused with an ability to be flexible and deal effectively and appropriately with barriers.
  • Strong, persuasive, and effective communicator, targeting appropriately to the audience.
  • Naturally collaborates with and has appropriate gravitas with all stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills and someone who inspires stakeholders to work with them.
  • Relevant category experience and knowledge.
  • Desire to work at clients' sites.
