About the Role:As an Accounts Payable Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of three, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payment runs. You will play a key role in improving processes, supporting month-end tasks, and overseeing supplier relationships while developing your leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and develop a team of 3, ensuring high-quality work.
- Manage supplier payments and oversee the timely processing of invoices.
- Support process improvements, month-end reconciliations, and payment runs.
- Collaborate with UK and outsourced teams to meet key performance indicators.
- Train, mentor, and develop the team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
We are looking for a part-qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA professional who is ambitious, personable, and driven to develop leadership skills. You will have strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, as well as excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders. Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with large datasets are also essential.
