Job Overview:

We are seeking an exceptional Team Manager to join our Catering team at the John Lewis Partnership. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of Partners to deliver exceptional customer service and sales results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of Partners to achieve sales and customer service targets.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve sales, customer satisfaction, and team performance.
  • Manage and mentor Partners to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and achieve business objectives.
  • Monitor and control costs, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership and management experience in a retail or food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with the ability to maintain high standards in a catering environment.
