Electrical Services Technician

Main Responsibilities
To ensure the smooth operation of electrical systems in Schools, the successful candidate will provide electrical support to the management and site teams. This will involve providing a range of electrical services, including PPM, reactive works, and statutory testing of electrical systems.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide electrical support to management, including PPM, reactive works, and statutory testing of electrical systems.
- Keep up-to-date registers of all requests and external data for records and reference.
- Provide ad-hoc duties reasonably requested by management.
- Adhere to company policies at all times.
- Maintain health and safety standards.
- Ensure personal appearance, including uniform, are of the highest standard at all times in line with company policy.
- Undertake any reasonable task as requested by the site manager or supervisor.
Requirements
- GCSE Mathematics or equivalent.
- GCSE English or equivalent.
- Electrical qualifications to 18th Edition.
- PAT (desirable).
- ECS Card.
- JIB Card.
- City & Guilds, Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations.
- Must have been in a similar role within the last 5 years.
- Maintenance and installation experience.
- Control systems experience, including motor controls, lighting controls, and control circuits.
- Familiarity with BMS systems.
- Electrical installation experience.
- Mechanical experience, including ventilation, pumps, and electrics.

- Highly organised and IT proficient.
- Proactive and self-starter.
- Team player who is willing to work to strict deadlines and go above and beyond requirements when called to support.
- Ability to follow policy and procedures.
- Willingness to bring concerns to corporate attention via prescribed channels.
