Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Women's Work Experience and Skills Specialist to join our team. This role will play a key part in supporting women to access work experience opportunities and develop their employability skills.

The successful candidate will have experience in coordinating events, building relationships with corporate partners, and delivering training sessions. You will also have a good understanding of the employability skills sector and issues facing women who have experienced gender-based violence and multiple disadvantage.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate work experience opportunities for women who have experienced gender-based violence and multiple disadvantages
  • Build relationships with corporate partners to secure work experience placements
  • Deliver training sessions as part of our Phase 2 employability and independence program
  • Organize regular CV/application drop-in sessions for our alumni community
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in event coordination, particularly for those living with disadvantage
  • Good understanding of the employability skills sector and issues facing women who have experienced gender-based violence and multiple disadvantage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £38,000-£43,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes:
