About the Role

We are seeking experienced 7.5 Tonne HGV drivers to join our team at the Royal Mail depot in Dorset. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting packets and letters to various locations across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a 7.5 Tonne HGV vehicle on a fixed route, following schedules and maintaining the security of the load and the condition of the vehicle.
  • Interact with the load as required, demonstrating a 'can-do' attitude and flexibility.
  • Work independently on the road, with some interaction with colleagues and management.
Requirements
  • Hold a valid 7.5 Tonne HGV licence for at least one year.
  • Have used a tacho card within the last six months.
  • Be willing to work a variety of shift patterns, including night shifts and weekends.
  • Be able to lift and move packages as required.
