Job Title: Senior Insolvency Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Senior Insolvency Administrator to join our team in Milton Keynes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for a portfolio of corporate insolvency engagements, with a focus on Creditors' Voluntary Liquidations and Administrations.

Job Role:
  • Be the principal contact for case-related matters and deal with day-to-day tasks efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Carry out duties in accordance with relevant legal and statutory obligations, SIPs, and the firm's procedures.
  • Contribute to case progression and strategy, managing your own work stream and agreeing priorities with your manager.
  • Prepare statutory notifications and reports to creditors, as well as fee estimates and administration proposals.
  • Assist with investigation work, completing checklists, and contributing to reports for the Insolvency Service.
  • Maintain receipts and payments accounts, prepare vouchers, and assist with VAT returns.
  • Attend meetings, document discussions, and prepare file notes to document key decision-making.
  • Prepare case reviews, highlighting action points to be followed up.
  • Liaise with specialist tax teams and assist with VAT, PAYE, and CT compliance.
  • Ensure case checklists and diaries are up to date and deal with creditor queries and correspondence.
  • Assist with progressing asset realisations, including liaising with agents and solicitors.
  • Supervise and train junior administrators.

Central Milton Keynes based office location with a hybrid working model

Requirements:
  • Must have experience of administrations and insolvent liquidations.
  • Must have experience of using Microsoft Office.
  • Experience of using IPS Cloud is preferred but not essential.
  • CPI qualification is preferred but not essential.
  • Knowledge of statutory requirements and timelines of insolvent liquidations and administrations.
  • Able to prepare statements of affairs and estimated outcome statements.
  • Able to maintain control schedules and produce statutory reports.
  • Works well in a team and under time pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Possesses strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Works with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Able to identify case-related issues and suggest options to resolve.
  • Confident in oral and written communication.
  • Keen to develop yourself and others.
  • Able to supervise junior members of staff and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Driving licence and use of own car, and willingness to travel to clients as required.
