Part-time Hospital Pharmacist Role

Hunter Gatherer AHP is seeking a part-time Band 6/7 locum ward-based Pharmacist to join their team in a hospital service in the Birmingham area. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Pharmacist to work in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical screening of prescriptions and dispensing services
  • Work in a predominantly ward-based setting with minimal dispensary cover needed
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care

Requirements:

  • Some prior community pharmacy experience
  • Ability to work within the NHS and learn quickly
  • Flexibility to work 2-3 days per week with a 9am-5.30pm schedule

About the Role:

This is a short-term post for 6 months, covering various physical health wards, including Renal, Medical, Surgical, and Orthopaedic. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a small community hospital located in the Birmingham area.
