Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working in schools between Penzance and Camborne, supporting children with Special Educational Needs.

About the Role:
  • Support children with SEN in a school setting
  • Work closely with class teachers to plan and deliver lessons
  • Assist with finding additional tasks for students who require extra support
  • Have a good understanding of the primary curriculum and be confident in finding resources suited to individual students
  • Be aware of Child Protection, Health and Safety, Behaviour, Teaching and Learning, and Equal Opportunities policies
  • Have strong organisational and time management skills
  • Hold a Child Workforce DBS (which can be completed during the recruitment process)
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year's experience working with SEN
  • Qualifications and training relevant to the role
